System for Interactive Modelling of Socio-Economic Development

  • Conference paper
Book cover Adequate Modeling of Systems

Abstract

The paper presents a brief description of the System for Interactive Modelling (SIM), a software which is being developed to be used in the analysis of socio-economic processes. The problems of building, testing and using complex models are discussed. The problems include those of interactive synthesis of the model description and computer program for models with variable structures, those of interactive simulation and optimization, interpretation of modelling results, etc.
