Zusammenfassung
Eine wesentliche Rolle im Fertigungsbereich spielt der Begriff der Version. Bedingt durch häufige technische Änderungen sind die Eigenschaften gängiger Objekte wie z.B. “Teil” oder “Arbeitsplan” zeitabhängig. In einer CAM-Datenbank ist deshalb die Bereitstellung geeigneter Datenstrukturen und adäquater Operationen erforderlich. Das im folgenden vorgestellte System zur Handhabung versionsbehafteter Objekte wurde für den Prototyp einer CAM-Datenbank entwickelt.
