Zusammenfassung

Die Aufgabe war, ein universelles Werkzeug für die experimentelle Bildverarbeitung zu schaffen mit den Leistungsmerkmalen (1) geringer Lernaufwand für den newcomer, (2) Effizienz bei der experimentellen Arbeit, (3) Basis für die Einbettung innovativer Technologien und Architekturen sowie (4) Unterstützung der Konzipierung und Implementierung von ApplikationsPrototypen. Realisiert wurde ein verteiltes System aus konventionellem Hostrechner, bi1dverarbeitungsspezifischen Workstations, I/O-Cluster und Lichtleiter-Netzwerk.
