Zusammenfassung

Seit Mitte 1978 werden an der Fachrichtung 8.6 “Angewandte Sprachwissenschaft sowie Übersetzen und Dolmetschen” verschiedene Forschungsprojekte zur Sprachdatenverarbeitung unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. W. Wilss durchgeführt. Das im Oktober 1985 begonnene Pilotprojekt “PC’s in der elektronischen Sprachforschung” hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Komponenten eines (dezentralen) Übersetzerarbeitsplatzes auf mehrplatzfähigen Rechnern mit UNIX-ähnlichen Betriebssystemen zu entwickeln.
