Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff “Hypertext” als Umschreibung eines anspruchsvollen Dokumentverarbeitungssystems wurde Ende der sechziger Jahre von T.Nelson im Rahmen seiner Arbeiten an XANADU [NEL] geprägt. Seitdem wurden eine Reihe von Hypertext-Systemen entwickelt und zum Teil sogar kommerziell vertrieben; [DS] und [HYP] geben einen Überblick.
