Zusammenfassung

Theorie gilt als abgehoben, starr, bestenfalls nutzlos. Ist sie vielfach auch; wir verlieren leicht die Verbindung zwischen Theorie und Praxis. Tatsächlich kann Theorie lebendig sein: Theorie, die wir beim Reden und Arbeiten allmählich verfertigen, kann als Grundlage weiterer Arbeit und Auseinandersetzungen dienen und sich so entwickeln. Sie kann eine Theorie der Praxis sein. Für eine solche Theorie brauchen wir Phantasie; eine solche Theorie beflügelt unsere Phantasie.

Und siehe da, wenn ich mit meiner Schwester davon rede, welche hinter mir sitzt, und arbeitet, so erfahre ich, was ich durch ein vielleicht stundenlanges Brüten nicht heraus gebracht haben würde. Heinrich von Kleist, “Über die allmähliche Verfertigung der Gedanken beim Reden.”
