Zusammenfassung

Unter Verwendung eines PC-Netzes wird die Parallelisierung von Verfahren der gemischtganzzahligen Optimierung untersucht. Anhand von Optimierungsmodellen aus dem Bereich der Produktionsplanung wird die numerische Lösungsfähigkeit eines parallelisierten Verfahrens demonstriert. Die präsentierten Ergebnisse zeigen, daß Parallelverarbeitung für diesen Anwendungsfall deutliche Fortschritte bei der Lösung kombinatorischer Probleme ermöglicht.
