Zusammenfassung
Die zunehmende Komplexität von Rechnernetzen und die dadurch steigenden Anforderungen an das Netzmanagement machten die Einführung eines neuen Konzeptes für das Netzmanagement von SNI-TRANSDATA®-Netzen erforderlich. Besonderes Ziel war es hierbei, neben SINIX®[*]-, BS2000- und PDN-Systemen auch OSI-Systeme fremder Hersteller in einem TRANSDATA-Verbund zu unterstützen. Der Vortrag geht von einer Übersicht über die Architektur des Communications Network Management (CNM) aus und zeigt, durch welche Maßnahmen in CNM die von ISO in den OSI Management Standardisierungsdokumenten getroffenen Festlegungen bezüglich Architektur, Services, Protokolle, NM-Objekte, Mechanismen und Regeln berücksichtigt werden.
