Zusammenfassung

Der ISO-Standard 8613 “Office Document Architecture” (ODA/ODIF) defi­niert ein Austauschformat für Verbunddokumente. ODA beschreibt die Strukturierung, Formatie­rung und den Austausch von Verbunddokumenten, bietet dem Benutzer aber keine Unterstützung bei deren Bearbeitung. In diesem Beitrag wird eine “Bearbeitungsstruktur” für ODA vorgestellt, die sowohl die Bearbeitungsregeln als auch den aktuellen Bearbeitungsstand eines Dokuments be­schreiben kann. Die neue Bearbeitungsstruktur ermöglicht die Definition von arbeitsteiligen Ko­operationsvorgängen in offenen Kommunikationssystemen. Bei der Abwicklung dieser Vorgänge wird die Struktur automatisch interpretiert und steuert so die Dokumentbearbeitung.

Summary

The Office Document Architecture (ODA/ODIF) established as ISO 8613 defines a standardized document interchange format. ODA describes the structure, the editing, and the formatting of multimedia documents but it does not support the user in processing them. This paper presents a “procedural structure” for ODA in order to describe the rules of processing office documents and the actual status of the document processing procedure. This new procedural structure allows the definition of collaborative office procedures in open communication networks. The procedural structure is interpreted automatically, thereby controlling the office procedure.
