Zusammenfassung

Modellbildung und Simulation erweisen sich als zunehmend relevant bei der Entwicklung und Bewertung von komplexen Systemen, sei es zum Studium bereits existierender Systeme oder als Entscheidungshilfe zur Auswahl von mehreren Entwicklungsalternativen. Diesem Sachverhalt muß auch in der Studentenausbildung Rechnung getragen werden. Um Studenten in die Thematik der rechnergestützten Simulation einzuführen, ohne sie mit allzu großem Programmieraufwand zu belasten, wurde der Simulationsbaukasten PROST entwickelt. An einem einfachen Beispiel wird die Handhabung des „Baukastens“ erläutert.
