Zusammenfassung

In diesem Beitrag wird eine neue Methode zur schnellen Segmentierung von Tiefenbildern in planare Regionen vorgestellt. Im wesentlichen besteht sie aus einer Approximation der Zeilen eines Tiefenbildes durch Geradenstücke und einem anschließenden Ausdehnungsprozess (region growing), in dem, anstatt von einzelnen Pixeln, die Geradenstücke als Grundelement verwendet werden. Die Schnelligkeit der neuen Methode rührt von der wesentlich geringeren Datenmenge der Liniensegmente im Vergleich zu den ursprünglich vorhandenen Pixeln her sowie der Tatsache, daß die Liniensegmente genauso leicht wie die Pixel zu handhaben sind.
