Zusammenfassung
Ausnahmesituationen — wie z.B. im Golfkrieg (Funksehau 1991) oder nach dem Erdbeben in Kalifornien 1989 (Kilborn 1989) — haben gezeigt, daß Videoconferencing bzw. Telearbeit Alternativen zu beruflich bedingtem Personenverkehr sind. Zu prüfen bleibt, inwieweit es sich hierbei nur um kurzfristige oder auch um langfristige Effekte handelt.
