Abstract
In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird die Praktikabilität induktiver maschineller Lernverfahren als ein Unterstützungstool beim automatischen Wissenserwerb am Beispiel eines produktiven Diagnose-Expertensystems demonstriert. Neben der linearen Diskriminanzanalyse werden drei auf dem Konzept des induktiven maschinellen Lernens basierende Verfahren eingesetzt; die empirischen Ergebnisse werden präsentiert und evaluiert.
Die Forschung wurde während der Tätigkeit des Autors bei der Mercedes-Benz AG durchgeführt. Die erforderlichen Programme für diese Untersuchung wurden von Herrn Holger Keller geschrieben, wofür die Autoren sich bei ihm bedanken möchten
