Zusammenfassung

Gut ausgebaute und funktionstüchtige Informationssysteme sind für die Weiterentwicklung und das Weiterbestehen unserer Industriegesellschaft von großer Bedeutung. Informationsbedürfnisse in unserer Gesellschaft sowie technische Möglichkeiten für die Informationsverarbeitung und die Kommunikation sind gegenwärtig einem besonders stürmischen Entwicklungsprozeß unterworfen. Die Dynamik dieses Prozesses wird weitgehend durch ein Spannungsfeld zwischen den zum Teil gegensätzlichen Polen bestimmt: Kundenwünsche, Benutzeranforderungen, rechtliche Aspekte, gesellschaftliche Aspekte, Wirtschaftlichkeit, technische Möglichkeiten, Normen und Standards.
