Zusammenfassung
Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über den derzeitigen Stand der Technik auf dem Gebiet der Dokumentenverarbeitung. Dem Thema der Tagung entsprechend wird das Schwergewicht auf die bestehenden Möglichkeiten zur Integration von Graphiken in Dokumente gelegt. Bei dieser Integration sollen sowohl Graphiken, die durch andere Anwendungen separat erzeugt wurden, als auch Graphiken, die während der Erzeugung des Dokumentes entstehen, berücksichtigt werden. Im Anschluß an diesen Überblick werden die Austauschmöglichkeiten von Dokumenten untersucht und die Standardisierungsbestrebungen auf diesem Gebiet erläutert.
