Zusammenfassung
Der Grad an Interaktion und Kooperation zwischen informationstechnisch gekoppelten Maschinen- und Anlagenkomponenten steigt ständig. Während Menschen vage Informationen teilweise richtig interpretieren können, weil sie Erfahrungen und Wissen einbringen, können Maschinen nur richtig agieren, wenn die Informationen eindeutig sind. Deshalb wird die semantisch eindeutige Beschreibung von Informationsmodellen immer wichtiger. Ein vielversprechender Ansatz um Semantik eindeutig und auch maschinenlesbar zu beschreiben ist, Merkmale zur Beschreibung der Eigenschaften von Komponenten zu verwenden. Diese Merkmale können mit einem Informationsmodell unterlegt werden, welches maschinell auswertbar ist. Wird dieser Ansatz in Engineering-Werkzeugen umgesetzt, so kann die Durchgängigkeit von Informationen im Lebenszyklus technischer Systeme wesentlich erhöht werden. Die methodischen Grundlagen und das prinzipielle Vorgehen werden in diesem Beitrag vorgestellt.
