  • Conference paper

Abstract

Information systems play an increasingly important role in the discussion about both the distribution of tourist products as well as the changing relationships between the different participants in the tourist industry. In this article we will discuss important design issues for a destination oriented tourist information system. These design principles are deduced in a top-down manner, taking into consideration the characteristics of the tourist industry.
