Scenarios for CSCW Applications in Tourism

  • Conference paper

Abstract

This paper discusses the possible use of Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) technologies in the field of tourism. Cooperative work processes in tourism are investigated and important factors are identified which influence the implementation of CSCW systems in tourism. To give some impressions of what future tourist CSCW systems could look like scenarios are developed. These scenarios might stimulate future research work to improve the use of information technologies in the field of tourism.
