Abstract
In this paper a comparative performance analysis is carried out among three different clutter removal algorithms such as Max – mean, Max – median, Mid – point filters. New algorithms for these three filters with guard window, to reduce the bias, due to the target are proposed in this paper. These new algorithms are compared for different scenario. It leads to the important conclusion about the selection of the filter having the best performance in a given scenario. The algorithms are compared to remove Speckle noise, Poisson noise and Gaussian noise. Experimental result shows that the proposed algorithms with guard window are more efficient than the existing techniques.
