Abstract

Every day more than 1 million new Android devices are activated worldwide [1]. This paper researched on the topic of design and implementation of a location based public opinion information system on android system, which provides personal or group users, such as people, enterprise, and government an easy access to information what they care about in specified location area with specified focus and interest. Those latest information would extract from some API-opened websites, such as a microblog website, a specified social network website, and take advantage of Google Geocoding API, we can extends the ability of the system to an infrastructure for other applications.
