Abstract
Driving through blind curves, especially in mountainous regions or through roads that have blocked visibility due to the presence of natural vegetation or buildings or other structures is a challenge because of limited visibility. This paper aims to address this problem by the use of surveillance mechanism to capture the images from the blind side of the road through stationary cameras installed on the road and provide necessary information to drivers approaching the blind curve on the other side of the road, thus cautioning about possible collision. This paper proposes a method to tackle blind curves and has been studied for various cases.
