Abstract

To detect the low-altitude and slow-speed small (LSS) target in the heavy ground clutter environment, a spectrum zoom processing based target detection algorithm is proposed in this paper. This algorithm firstly performs the coherent accumulation on each frame of range-time image, then concatenates the data from the same low Doppler frequency slot of multiple frames of range-Doppler frequency images, after that performs the spectrum zoom processing on the concatenated data, finally performs the clutter suppression and target detection. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has a good LSS target detection performance.
