Abstract

Based on the mediating effect of perceived organizational support and group cohesion, this paper explored the effect of flexible human resource practice on group citizen behavior in Chinese context. With a questionnaire survey among 443 employees of enterprises in Beibu Gulf, we construct and validate the relationship model of flexible human resource practice, organizational support, group cohesion and group citizenship behavior by statistical analysis and SEM. The results showed that perceived organizational support and group cohesion played a partially mediating role between flexible human resource practice and group citizenship behavior. It is recommended to foster and motivate group citizenship behavior by implementing flexible human resource practice
