Abstract
We suggest some theoretical considerations concerning parastatistical distribution of the number of journals by the number of articles which they contain (structural units). Our experiments agree with the theoretical conclusions with accuracy up to 0.31%, and withPrice's experiments — with accuracy of 0.7%.
The qualitive agreement of the theoretical model suggested is shown withBonitz's experiments. The agreement of the theory and the experiment is discussed and it is shown that the model suggested describes the Groos effect, i. e. it introduces a correction to the Bradford law.
