Abstract

THE APPLICATION described in this paper experiments with new possibilities of hypermedia. Interactive writing of fiction by program users is an integral component in the teaching and practice of Spanish. Scenes showing communicative interactions representative of the foreign language and ambiguous scenes crafted in the form of a “video Rorschach” can be accessed in virtually any order. Student writing requires interpretation of scenes and thoughtful use of the foreign language.
