Résumé
En quoi les avancées technologiques des télécommunications peuvent-elles contribuer à pallier certains problèmes de handicap, et comment la recherche dans les disciplines contribuant au développement des nouvelles technologies de l’information et de la communication (ntic) peut-elle aider des personnes handicapées, et lesquelles?
Après le rappel de quelques repères importants, nous détaillons d’un point de vue des supports des transmissions, en quoi les «télé»-installations, qui permettent d’abolir les distances pour les perceptions sensorielles peuvent contribuer à l’insertion sociale des handicapés. Puis du point de vue des contenus sémantiques, comment les recherches sur la compréhension des systèmes langagiers et l’interprétation des images peuvent trouver des applications dans l’aide à certains handicaps de communication.
Enfin, différentes améliorations technologiques des supports de communication, ouvertes à l’imagination créative, laissent entrevoir une meilleure ergonomie d’appareils de plus en plus puissants, intégrés et portables qui par leur discrétion, devraient contribuer à un meilleur confort.
Abstract
How can technical research in remote communication help the palliation of certain disabilities and how can research involving remote communication help disabled people?
We first give some crucial bases for this collaboration. Then, from a transmission support standpoint, we detail how remote installations that remove distance in sensorial perceptions can support the social insertion of handicapped people. Next, from semantic considerations, we examine how research into the understanding of linguistic systems and the interpretation of images can have applications in helping certain communication handicaps. Finally, we show different technological improvements in communication support systems, more and more efficient devices having better ergonomics, providing greater comfort for the user.
