The e-Photon/ONe Network of Excellence in EC FP6

Abstract

e-Photon/one is a Network of Excellence (noe) on optical networks funded by the eu in the 6th Framework Program, noes aim at the integration of the activities of the involved researchers and institutions, exploiting complementarity to achieve critical mass and to foster excellence. The key instruments in e-Photon/ONe to coordinate technical activities in specific thematic areas are the “Virtual Departments”. In this paper we briefly present e-Photon/ONe and its organization.
