Zusammenfassung
Das Potenzial mobiler Lösungen liegt nicht in der Unterstützung unveränderter Prozesse, sondern in deren Umgestaltung zu mobil-integrierten Prozessen — entweder durch Anpassung (Mobile Business Process Improvement) oder durch Neukonstruktion (Mobile Business Process Reengineering). Als Ordnungsrahmen für die Analyse und Gestaltung wird dabei das Mobility-M eingesetzt. Zudem fördert die zunehmende private Smartphone-Verbreitung den »Bring Your Own Device«-Ansatz und eine Bottom-up-Entwicklung, die mittels »Business Apps« Teil-oder Einzelprobleme löst. Ein Optimum zwischen dieser Vorgehensweise und dem traditionellen »Top-down-Ansatz« zur Konstruktion mobil-integrierter Geschäftsprozesse zu finden, ist eine der zentralen Herausforderungen für den Umgang mit Mobilität im Unternehmen der Zukunft.
