Abstract
The aim of the paper is to describe an approach towards knowledge-based environments to support database design. The main stress is put towards the role of a restricted natural language facility in advice-giving systems, aiming to be expert helpers to the users of database systems. The paper brings also a description of possible solutions in design and implementation of a natural language processing module as a part of a knowledge-based advice-giving environment to database systems.
