Abstract

We describe an approach to integration of different types of genetic and physical mapping data for the human chromosome X, including radiation hybrids (RHs), STSs, microsatellites, genes and clones. It includes a rapid construction of the marker-RH map over the entire chromosome and a subsequent positioning of yeast artificial chromosome (YAC) clones from the data generated by YAC hybridization to RH filters or by probing YAC filters with the whole RHs.
