Abstract
Research in progress concerning the processing and indexing of articles has been described. The approach focuses on (i) natural-language terms as indices, (ii) explicit representation of simple syntactic and semantic relationships between indices, and (iii) domain specific categories as a means to embed indices within contexts. An experimental implementation is currently in progress.
