Abstract

The traditional complex access procedure still prevents a lot of scientists to migrate their applications to massively parallel computers and to benefit from their computing power. We present a new approach for obtaining a simpler user interface using standard components of today's Internet technologies. By means of a parallel raytracing application, called DeepRay, as an example we show how to implement a simple yet powerful interface to supercomputers.
