Abstract
The aim of the paper is to sketch the evolution of the approach in the development of the Information System for Onco-pathology. The basic goal of the system is to provide relevant information on tumours according to the specified constraints for diagnostic purposes. Originally the task was solved using diagnostic expert system shell. The experience leads the authors to the development of a hypertext — based tool equipped with a module focusing the attention to the relevant part of data.
