Abstract

This short article describes the objectives, overall results and main observations and conclusions of the Decomate project that was carried out between March 1995 and February 1997 by coordinator Tilburg University (the Netherlands), Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain) and the London School of Economics (United Kingdom) in the framework of the Telematics for Libraries programme under execution of DGXIII of the European Commission in Luxembourg.
