A Statistical Data Representation System on the Web

  • Published:
Computational Statistics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

A data representation system developed is based on the data’s attributes. The representation not only exhibits the data, but also allows the user to perform statistical analysis on the Web. The system has a simple interactive interface for analyzing data. The data and its classification are built into the system. Data attributes such as description, subject, method, scenario, and variable type of data are stored in the database as additional attributes that are reflected into the user analysis. An example, which illustrates that the system can be applied for educational use with freely downloadable data from the Web, is presented.
