Orthogonal spline collocation methods for biharmonic problems

Abstract.

Orthogonal spline collocation methods are formulated and analyzed for the solution of certain biharmonic problems in the unit square. Particular attention is given to the Dirichlet biharmonic problem which is solved using capacitance matrix techniques.
