Abstract
Medicine deals with live-and-death issues and errors can lead to serious harm to real people. Additionally medicine as an industry becomes increasingly significant. Medical information systems are the comprehensive systems of information processing in a care giving institution or region. Although the principles of medical information systems’ architectures do not differ significantly from information systems in other industries, there are considerable challenges with respect to the management of information systems in medicine.
