Abstract
This paper deals with the notions called fuzzy \(\alpha \)-cut, fuzzy strict \(\alpha \)-cut and their properties. Algebraic structures arising out of the family of fuzzy \(\alpha \)-cuts and fuzzy strict \(\alpha \)-cuts have been investigated. Some significance and usefulness of fuzzy \(\alpha \)-cuts are discussed.
