A briefing on the evolution and status of the Open Video digital library

Abstract

This briefing introduces the reader to an ongoing digital library project that serves as a testbed for research that in turn informs the development of the digital library. The paper is informal with pointers to the technical literature. It aims to illustrate some of the issues and challenges facing digital library researchers and practitioners.
