Abstract

Recently, the necessity of search or recommendation for using mass quantity of web contents at a number of social media websites, etc. as the usage of social network service has rapidly increased. An effective recommendation method based on social network is to predict the preference and use the social network relationship information of a user after identifying the propensity of user. In this study, a recommendation algorithm based on the intimacy between users has been proposed using the information on the social network having correlation with the user. Also, the proposed methodology has been applied on Podcast which is in a form of multimedia file rising as new social media nowadays to be implemented as a system and shows the experiment result.
