The influence of correlated noise on the SDC protocol

Abstract

In this paper, we study the simultaneous dense coding (SDC) protocol when the noise on consecutive uses of the channel has some partial correlations. Three typical kinds of correlated noise are studied, i.e., the correlated depolarizing channel, the correlated dephasing channel and the correlated amplitude damping channel. Three success probabilities of SDC are calculated to evaluate the influence of the correlated noise. The analytical expressions of the success probabilities as functions of the noise strength and the correlation level are given.
