Abstract

In this paper, we consider the spectrum sensing by exploiting the receive antenna correlation properties in cognitive radio systems. The signal and noise have different statistical correlation characteristics. By utilizing this property, we design a detection scheme that does not need the apriori information on the primary user signal and noise. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms conventional schemes unless the antenna correlation is low.
