Abstract

This paper addresses full-duplex relaying with partial relay selection, where the relay with the best instantaneous signal-to-noise ratio across the source-relay link is selected to amplify the signal received from the source and forward it to the destination. Some expressions for outage probability and symbol error rate are derived to provide the performance analysis in an independent and identically distributed Rayleigh fading environment. Monte-Carlo simulations are also performed to demonstrate the validity of the analytical results.
