Zusammenfassung
Grundlegender Bestandteil (zugelassener) IT-Sicherheitsprodukte sind kryptografische Algorithmen, die die Vertraulichkeit, die Authentizität und die Integrität sensibler Daten gewährleisten sollen. Dieser Artikel soll die Bedeutung kryptografischer Verfahren für die IT-Sicherheit sowie die Herausforderungen für die Kryptografie durch die Entwicklung von Quantencomputern beleuchten.
