Abstract

This paper proposes a method of on-line software reliability monitoring during the software testing phase. Especially, we provide the reliability on-line charting based on the moving-average of the estimated values of software reliability measure in order to obtain a stable evaluation result for the fluctuating environment of software testing phase. For doing this, we use the incomplete gamma function model and a bootstrap resampling scheme. After the model description, we show several numerical illustrations which is based on the actually collected software debugging data set.
