N components redundancy for consideration of reliability equivalence factors

Abstract

In this paper, we consider the reliability equivalence factors for a general series–parallel system, so that in redundancy method N components of redundancy are allocated to the selected units. This reliability equivalence factors are investigated for (i&i) components with exponential life times. Numerical examples are presented to interpret how one utilizes the obtained results.
