Effects of window flow control on the 802.2 Type-II logical link performance in ArbNet

Abstract

The performance of ArbNet from the logical link control (LLC) layer point of view is studied in this paper. The effects of error recovery and window size on the 802.2 Type II logical link throughput and delay performance are investigated. The transmission overheads of link layer control frames are also evaluated.
