Abstract

We develop the fundamentals of graph-theoretic duality for graphs having an arbitrary number of distinguished vertices (terminals), rather than just two as is usual in network theory. The resulting multiterminal duality principle suggests a generalization of series-parallel to three-terminal graphs.
