Raymond M. Glath, Sr. has had over 25 years of experience in designing and writing computer software. He has worked with microprocessors since 1977. He began his career in industry after completion of military service with the U.S. Army Security Agency. He is a regular columnist for the Atlantic Tech newspaper. He formed RG Software Systems, Inc., in the spring of 1984 and released PC Tracker, an inventory control system for managing PC resources. The company's second product, Disk Watcher, was first released in 1987 as a disaster prevention utility. The newer version contains additional protection features including virus detection.
