How VMS keeps out intruders

Tanya Candia is product marketing manager for Demax Software's security and system performance product lines.

Candia has over 12 years of experience in the field of information management, having worked as systems analyst and developer, system manager, security auditor and product manager, with firms such as Ford Aerospace, Amdahl Corporation, ASK Computers and Teradyne and has lectured and presented seminars throughout the United States and Europe on VAX/VMS security and system management.

She has a linguistics degree from the University of California, an MA in Communications from Monterey Institute of International Studies and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.

Candia is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Computer Security Institute and the Information Systems Security Association.
